Meeting the Group

We were allocated our groups on 11th November 2011. The people placed with me in the aforementioned group was Jade Mori, Paige Hastings and Rebecca Scholes. After being placed in these groups, with still no idea of what the brief was going to be, we got to know each other. Which is of paramount importance if we want the brief and any ideas that we come up with to come into fruition.

We then were given smalls slips of paper in which we had to document down who was doing what. The 4 different responsibilities were as follows:

• Project Manager
• Researcher
• Production and Dissemination
• Content creator

To decide who was going to do what, after not knowing each other for that long would prove to be a challenge, so we used the most primitive but fairest system we could muster. Picking names out of a hat. In doing this, it had come to pass that I was the Researcher, Rebecca was the Project Manager, Jade was in Production and Paige was the content creator.

After doing this, we had to come up with a group name. Which is obviously one of the hardest things to think of because the aim is to 'be original'. So we called our group Free Flyers.

So... after this we received our brief and what content we were being asked to created... but that's another blog entry...
