Research: Information Palooza

I have truly collated and gathered a lot of extremely useful and worthwhile information. One of my first main focuses was to find videos that could aid the creation of our own. How they were made and why they have been chosen to persuade students that University is a worthwhile choice. (See the below video)

.

The video was created at Bournemouth University and features on this website. Meaning that the sources provided within the video would be useful. I also looked at other videos, such as other stop motions to get an idea of the sort of look that we wanted to created. (See the second video).

So after looking at videos such as the aforementioned, I then went on to look at sites that I believed students themselves would go on and once understand what the students look for information wise and what engages them I could then be able to understand what information would better the video and fit more with our target demographic.
I looked on the obvious sites, such as UCAS and Direct Gov but then I also started looking on sites that were created to entertain students and provide students with other information that they cared about (other than the financial issues). This led me to sites such as Push and Student 365. The house style of these websites would also lend some ideas to production and content creation about how to make the video look and fit in with the style that these websites encompass.
